Versión CD:
Versión Guitar Hero:
YES! This Is the rip of the original Greg Fidelman's mastertape mix.
Please, don`t ask who sent me the CD copy, it could give us some troubles.
This is how the CD should sound, is the final mix before the "distortion and clipping" and the "deleting roberto`s bass" process.
Is much cleaner than the retail cd, got more bass sound, the drums sounds like drums... you can listen to this mix with headphones and not suffer ears cancer.
Also includes the original mix of the track 9 "Suicide & Redemption" with James and Kirk whole solos, as it was thinked (one as suicide and the other as redemption), but the guys needed to give some "rare stuff" to the Guitar Hero III version. That`s the only difference with the retail mix.
I think that is better than the Guitar Hero III rips that I heard, because of those hasn`t good bass sound too.
I`m seeding it in wave format for you to have it as it is.
This is definitely how the album was thinked to sound, before it was "craped" by the record companies.
Burn & Enjoy

Criticism regarding production
The album has been criticized for having compromised sound quality and being compressed "past the point of distortion". Sean Michaels of The Guardian explains that "the sound issues are a result of the "loudness war" - an ongoing industry effort to make recordings as loud as possible". A Rolling Stone article states that Rick Rubin was "overseeing mixes in Los Angeles while the band is in Europe, headlining shows" and only communicated with him by conference calls. Fans have noted that these sonic problems are not present in the Guitar Hero version of the album, where the tracks are present separately because of the game mechanics.[52][53] MusicRadar and Rolling Stone attribute a quote to the album's mastering engineer Ted Jensen in which he claims that "mixes were already brick-walled before they arrived" for mastering and cite a petition from fans to remix or remaster the album.
