NUBIAN ROSE - Mental Revolution

Swedish hard rockers NUBIAN ROSE have inked a deal with UK label Livewire/Cargo Records. Their sophomore album, ‘Mental Revolution‘, is scheduled for a November release. The new album is armed with even heavier riffs, deeper melodies and a more mature production.

Sweden’s master producer and studio wizard, Tobias Lindell, who has produced albums such as ‘Tear The Walls Down‘ and ‘Address The Nation‘ by HEAT, ‘Split Your Lip, from Hardcore Superstar and ‘Last Look Of Eden‘, by Europe, has mixed ‘Mental Revolution‘ and given it an outstanding and impeccable sound. NUBIAN ROSE are planning on taking the next step of their career and aiming to hit the top division.

Christer said, “We are very happy to sign with Livewire/Cargo Records for our second album. They have a reputation as being one of the most honest and hardworking label’s in the business and that says A LOT in the music industry. They have also shown true love to NUBIAN ROSE and our music and that’s of course also very important to us“.

Swedish hard rockers NUBIAN ROSE will release its new album, titled ‘Mental Revolution’, on November 24th via Limewire/Cargo Records. The cover artwork for the CD was created by Mattias Savage Wil, all photos by Tallee Savage for Savage Beauty and can be seen below.

The album was produced by Christer Åkerlund, engineerd by Jakob Herrmann, mixed by Tobias Lindell (HEAT, Europe, Hardcore Superstar, Avatar, Mustasch), recorded at Top Floor Studios & Bohus Sound and mastered by Mats “Limpa” Lindfors (Crashdïet, Scorpions, Dan Reed, Treat) at Cutting Room.


NUBIAN ROSE is now back with their sophomore album. It’s called ‘Mental Revolution‘ and is clearly a step forward. The production is more edgy and bigger in every way; drums and guitars are dominating together with great melodies. Christer and Sofia’s cooperation as a songwriting duo has deepend and matured. It’s obvious that the roots of the NUBIAN ROSE music is coming from the same place as before, but with ‘Mental Revolution‘ they have clearly been taking a big step forward.
