LA FORMACION ORIGINAL DE BANGALORE CHOIR (4 DE ELLOS) SE REUNIRAN DESPUES DE 16 AÑOS DESDE QUE GRABARON SU MITICO "ON TARGET" SEGUN LA PAGINA SLEAZE ROXX.EL MSG ORIGINAL LO PODEIS ENCONTRAR EN MY SPACE.
Prepare for IMMEDIATE IMPACT! David Reece is back for the attack more powerful then ever. BANGALORE CHOIR is reuniting with the return of four original members, plus the addition of kick ass guitarist Brynn Arens known for his work with FLIPP and OBSESSION.
It has been 16 years since the bands only release " On Target" on Giant Records in 1992, which was released on the same day as Nirvana's "Never Mind" and as we all know, was the end of Hard rock and Metal as we know it. Shortly after the band dismantled after being released from the label.
After several years under the radar on a ranch in Montana, lead vocalist David Reece (ex-Accept / Dareforce) was contacted by Escape Records in 2007 to see what the chances would be for him to go to Sweden to sing on Swedish band Gypsy Rose's next release. Soon after that David found himself in the studio for the next year recording and writing for the new GYPSY ROSE CD "Another World" to be released June 20th, 2008.
While touring and doing The Sweden Rock Festival in June of 07 and opening for AEROSMITH in Europe, Reece regained his passion for music, deciding he wanted to put Bangalore Choir back together. Reece contacted former band mate John Kirk. Upon returning from Sweden the process was put into motion. David found himself on his way to Northern California to Kirk's studio EVP Productions to start laying down tracks with a catalog of new material.
Pre-Production is almost complete with a CD release planned for mid summer 2008. Excitement was a buzz and with new management on board talk about doing summer festivals came up.
Lance King at Nightmare Records got word of this, and we contacted the band immediately about them playing our TRI-LABEL STAGE at this years ROCKLAHOMA.
The original rhythm duo of bassist Ian Mayo and drummer Jackie Ramos have cleared their schedules and are on board for the reunion.
Set to hit the stage July 13th in Pryor, on the 2nd Stage North in Prior, OK. And leave a permanent imprint on those who attend. Check out BANGALORE CHOIR at ROCKLAHOMA TRI-LABEL STAGE.
