San Francisco Bay Area vocalist/guitarist David Victor first picked up a guitar at the age of 16 after seeing his sister’s boyfriend strum a few chords. David began performing at age 18 with several original hard rock bands in northern California and recorded and produced his first commercial release PROOF THROUGH THE NIGHT in 1991.

David put together his first original band VELOCITY in 1996 and recorded and produced Velocity’s debut album IMPACT in 1997 which included veteran drummer Pat Torpey (Mr. Big, Robert Plant, The Knack) on drums.

Velocity was a dynamic live act that would go on to play numerous shows throughout the western U.S. from 1996 until 2000. As a result of touring as well as U.S. and Canadian commercial rock radio airplay, Velocity’s IMPACT and the followup album ACTIVATOR went on to sell over 5,500 in the U.S., and over 12,000 units worldwide with deals on europe’s MTM records and Japan’s AVEX records.

In 1999, David decided to move to the Los Angeles area in order to bring about new musical opportunities. David has recently been performing with a variety of acts such as PLATINUM ROCKSTARS (multi-tribute rock cover band), and The Exile Social Club (consisting of Chuck Wright -- Quiet Riot, Alice Cooper -- on bass, Jason Hook -- Vince Neil, Alice Cooper -- on guitar and the aforementioned Pat Torpey on drums.

David has also recently began doing voiceover/vocal work for various TV and web commercials.

el gran Vocalista d VELOCITY!!

This album was originally released in 1991 and had a limited run of only 500 on cassette.Mtm got a hold of it... and the rest is history. This was what David Victor was doing ...before he released the excellent "Impact" album with Velocity, and what a truly outstanding bunch of songs it was. Shit man ...the boy can write, he can play, produce... and has one of the most soulfull voices there is.Perry/Gram with more grit and personally I prefer Victors style: its more Rock N Roll. Every songs a winner, ten tracks of the most sublime Melodic Aor you are ever likely to hear, and had "hit" written all over it. If only "PTTN" had been released five or six years earlier, because the dude would now be living it up in Beverly Hills. as it is, rumours of followup albums, both solo, and from Velocity have yet to materialize. Get yer finger out Dave... we want more. Truly outstanding and a bonafide...CLASSIC!

En las referencias Boston soy = Kikerocks, nadie (salvo quizas Dare por la profundidad emocional) me conmueve como un Brad con tanto temas... el citado aqui por ejemplo. Ahora bien, la version es mas que decente (por lo que apunta, xq es mas bien cortica cortica)! El resto de temas apuntan estilito
