Sam Ryder: ¡Se tarda mucho en cocinar las cosas buenas! Teníamos muchas cosas en nuestro plato: ir de gira, cambios en la banda, la ruptura con Century Media y componer. Lo que para nosotros fue muy poco tiempo para el resto de la gente fue muchísimo. Prometemos que no volverá a pasar tanto tiempo nunca, nunca más.

¿Cuáles son las principales diferencias con “Pedal To The Metal”?
Menos queso, más Rock N' Roll.

De vivir positivamente.
¿Qué importancia tiene el cristianismo a la hora de hacer vuestras canciones?
No tiene importancia. No somos una banda cristiana. Somos una banda de Heavy Metal con algunos miembros cristianos.
Ya era hora de un videoclip de Blessed ByA Broken Heart, ¿estáis contentos con el resultado del clip de “Forever”?
¡Creo que es dulce! Sean despedaza el infierno hacia fuera de aquel desierto y Tyler es muy afortunado con esos dos pumas.
Se os suele relacionar con la escena Metalcore, ¿qué opináis de esto?
¡Creo que realmente nadie sabe en donde en donde ponernos! ¡Ahora estamos fuera de esa escena y no queremos volver!
¿Eres miembro fijo del grupo? ¿Cómo lo combinas con tu otra banda The Morning After?
Intento aprovechar mi tiempo lo mejor posible con la gira. Intento tocar música con mis amigos hasta el día en que me muera.

Siempre elegimos a las bandas. No puedo soportar ir de gira con una banda de mierda y tener que escucharlos todas las noches. Nos aseguramos que las bandas que nos acompañan sean la leche.

¿Alguna banda recomendable que hayas descubierto últimamente?
Pagan’s Mind, adoro esa banda, no son nuevos pero todavía son geniales.
¿Qué os ha supuesto el fichaje por Tooth & Nail Records? ¿Qué tal están apoyando el disco?
El sello nos está apoyando muchísimo, estoy muy contento de tenerlos a bordo.
La versión de “Separate Ways” de Journey es genial ¿Tenéis en mente hacer alguna otra?
Lo hicimos! Renovamos la original para ponerla en la edición japonesa pero a Steve Perry no le gustó así que no nos hubiera dejado, pero seamos justos, Steve Perry puede hacer cualquier cosa que quiera.
¿Qué soléis hacer cuando no estáis tocando y/o componiendo?
Ahora mismo estoy tumbado en una alfombra en una caravana preparado para la gira de The Morning After.

I guess noone really really knew where to put us! We're out of that scene now and we don't wanna go back!

I try to manage my time as best I can with touring. I just want to play music with all my buddies till the day I bloody well die!

We always choose our support bands. I can't stand touring with a turd band and having to listen to them every night. We make sure our supports are badass!

What has meant to sign with "Tooth & Nail Records"? How they are supporting the album?
The label has motivated the hell out of us. I'm happy to have them on board!
The version from Journey "Separate Ways" is great. Have you planned to make another one?
We did! We re-vamped the original to put on the Japanese version of the record but Steve Perry didn't like it so he wouldn't allow it! But let's be fair, Steve Perry can do whatever the hell he wants!
What do you use to do when you are not composing or touring?
Right now I'm laying carpet down in a van ready for The Morning After tour.
Which are your favorite films?
Stargate and The Lost Boys.
