Dreams - Dreams (2011)

Señores, esto a lo mejor es resulta estúpido por mi parte pero...no encuentro nada en internet sobre este discazo, es del 2011, no me acuerdo de qué web me hice con el disco, pero es que es tremendo, me encanta. Busco por google, por youtube, y nada, no encuentro ninguna canción que os pueda mostrar, pero os juro que es un disco muy muy bueno, no se si os vale mi palabra, pero os lo prometo, me ha encantado.

Os dejo la portada por si alguien me puede decir algo más y aportar información.

Formed in the fall of 1985 in Palos Hills, IL, Dreams started performing high-energy rock ‘n’ roll in the northern Illinois area in early 1986. Originally based out of Chicago’s southwest suburbs, the band members began perfecting their musical skills and style by covering popular top-40 songs at local high school and college performance.

Within a few years, Dreams started writing and performing original music as their abilities and popularity continued to grow. For the next five years, Dreams performed an intense blend of original and cover material in front of thousands of people during more than 300 shows.

Highlights included headlining performances at major universities (including the University of Iowa, Northern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University and the University of Illinois at Chicago), nightclubs (including the now defunct China Club, the legendary Cubby Bear and the original P.J. Flaherty’s) and numerous city festivals (Tinley Park, Lisle, Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge, Lansing and many more). Additional highlights include selling 5,000 cassettes of original material and showcasing for major record labels on Hollywood’s famous Sunset Strip in the early 1990’s.

Dreams’ local success can be attributed to the band’s relationship with Gary Loizzo (keyboardist Todd’s father). Gary is a Grammy-nominated recording engineer who worked with Styx on multimillion-selling Styx records in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, as well as on many other successful recordings. He is also was a founding member and lead singer of the American Breed which had a No. 1 hit song with “Bend Me Shape Me” in 1968. Dreams’ experience with Gary helped them to refine their writing and recording skills and gave them an education and foundation that few young bands have enjoyed.

Prior to their reunion at Chicago RidgeFest 2008, the band’s last live performance was in 1997, as members amicably parted way to begin professional careers and start families.

¡La virgen! Que conste que no soy un torpe en el manejo de internet ¿eh? Puse el titulo de varias canciones (al igual que el nombre del grupo) en youtube y no me aparecía nada de nada, idem con google. Date cuenta Robert que sólo conocía una palabara, la del grupo "Dreams" y encima su disco se titula igual, así que la busqueda por Google se hacía eterna.

heaven, para afinar busquedas de grupos con nombres "normales" ayuda mucho poner al lado (band).

de todas formas...¿llevan en esto desde 1985 y es su primer disco o es una reedición?
